A Z5 heads to France

Adelaide resident John is headed for L’Etape du Tour (again) and was looking for something special to take. He said on the phone that, at 6 feet plus and with long legs and arms, he would definitely present a challenge to stock frame geometry.

He flew to Melbourne to be fitted and to discuss “the detail”. Not only were we able to dial in the frame but were also able to guide him to a more efficient and effective pedal stroke that his new position would allow him to utilise.

On Saturday John collected his PARLEE below. He took it for a quick run to Frankston before heading to the airport to do “show and tell” with the local crew.

The frame is a 57.5 top tube with the Parlee “Flex-fit” tall headtube. The build features the new SRAM Red/Black groupset, a Tune wheelset, cages and skewers, FSA cockpit and Fizik Saddle/tape. Look Keo Carbon pedals and Conti Gatorskins complete the specification.

Total weight exactly as above is 6.18 kg with plenty of scope, but very little need, to go lower still in complete safety (except for your wallet)!
